Certificate in Transactional Analysis (TA) Theory

This course is for anyone interested in human nature, personality, and relationship dynamics. This qualification is often taken by coaches, educators, managers, and healthcare professionals along with those pursuing a career as a psychotherapist. ​You will achieve a comprehansive, practical understanding of TA concepts to apply to your personal and professional life.

Throughout the foundation year, you will complete eight short, 250-word reflective learning logs and a brief, 5-minute presentation to your peer group on a TA concept that you relate to. We know that traditional academic methods can carry anxieties, especially for neurodivergent students. If writing an essay or speaking live to the whole group feels like a barrier, we work together to find an alternative that fits your learning style. You can record your 250-word reflections as short audio notes instead of writing them down. For the 5-minute presentation, you are welcome to pre-record it at home, or share it in a smaller, informal breakout group rather than presenting to the group.
